Today we checked out Shihlin, Taiwanese Street Snacks. Our neighbor restaurant, located inside Ranch 99’s food court.

They’re KNOWN for their famous XXL Chicken Thighs and its a MUST TRY.🔥🔥🔥 Make sure to get the extra spicy one if you think you can handle it! What else more to say? Light breading, super juicy…it’s DELICIOUS!

A few other items that was shown in this video were the:
• Seafood Tempura
• Sweet Plum Fries
• Crispy Mushrooms
• Grandma’s Braised Meat Rice
• Mango Shaved Ice
• Mixed Beans Shaved Ice

Overall, everything was AMAZING! Very well balanced flavors, not too heavy and not too light. Make sure to definitely put an order in of the Plum Fries, those don’t miss!! And after all the savory foods, wash it down with something sweet like their shaved ice.

					I was on a mission to fine an amtrack spot far enough from Sacramento for the kids to get an experience but also have something to within walking distance of our stop. I chose the Great America stop crossing my fingers that Chicken Meets Rice would be close enough for my kids and senior parents to walk and live up to its yelp reviews.
Chicken Meets Rice for the win! Just a short hop, skip and jump across the over pass and we were there for lunch. We ordered Hainan chicken, fried chicken and tofu plates all with rice, compimentary sauces and soup. As a family, we enjoyed all 3 protiens and everything included. The chicken was tenderand juice and tofu crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and both with really good flavor. 
The menu is simple and ordering is done at a kiosk. I love that their are white/brown rice, salad and dark/white meat options. After ordering you can see the staff working swiftly to prepare and pack orders. The restaurant was busy the whole time we were there. We really enjoyed our lunches- I wish we had a Chicken Meets Rice in Sacramento!

					I was excited to try Chicken Meets Rice since I've seen so many locations pop-up! Coming on a weekday lunch rush was crazy. There was a long line out the door and we waited a total of 35 min to get our food (lunch order of 10). The servevrs were quick to pack up our order and everyone else's! They accurately packed up all 10 of our orders during lunch rush to include our customized bowls, sauces, and soups. Inside, there was a lot of seating that was open and available, but a majority of people were doing takeout. The chicken had a mild flavor, but was cooked well. The rice had a stronger chicken flavor that went along very well with the traditional ginger scallion oil. I would definitely recommend getting at least one of the ginger scallion oils as a sauce since you can pick two. The chicken broth was light and still good! All together, everything went well and it's definitely a place I would recommend for a quick bite.

The grilled and fried chicken are fantastic and pair perfectly with the rice and sauces. I could eat here everyday and will continue to tell everyone I know to go try this place. 					Chicken Meet Rice is a solid spot for a tasty meal, especially if you love chicken. The restaurant has a simple, average decor and the remodeling doesn't stand out, but it's clean and functional. When it comes to service, it's a bit impersonal because you have to order and pay for your food through a self-service system, which means you don't interact much with the staff.
However, the main highlight is the chicken. Whether you choose steamed, grilled, or fried, the chicken is cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Each option is delicious and worth trying. The self-order and checkout system might take some getting used to, but it's efficient once you get the hang of it. 
Overall, if you're looking for a place with amazing chicken and don't mind a basic setup and minimal human interaction, Chicken Meet Rice is definitely worth a visit. The food quality more than makes up for any shortcomings in service or decor.

					Our to go place whenever we are in the area. It is close to the Levi's stadium and Santa Clara Convention center.  The chicken rice is flavorful. The poached chicken goes well with Singapore chilly sauce and ginger scallion sauce.  If you like chicken breast, I recommend to order with skin on so that it won't be dry and juicier. Best part, it comes with chicken soup.  We also tried the grilled chicken and it was delicious as well. Price is also reasonable. Service is fast. You can also order from online and pickup. There is reward point if you signed up. The cafe is clean and modern. If you haven't, go try it. I recommended to our group parents whenever we are close by for our kids' event.  All of them enjoyed it.  You are not only getting your carb but lots of protein, salad and soup.

					Very impressive business model that's incorporated in this business. Customers order and pay on an iPad, completely no cash on premises. The progress of  orders is shown on a screen. Behind the counter are stations with each employee responsible for only one task - either filling in rice or salad then somebody else cutting the chicken then another packing all orders. Orders are efficiently fulfilled. 
The Grilled Chicken I ordered was delicious. Chicken skin tastes of lemongrass flavor with maybe a hint of turmeric. Chicken itself is a bit short of marinade but somehow yummy. I think it's due to the thin slices that incorporates the tastes. Chicken broth is gingery. 
Service is very fast.

					Located in a seemingly sketch strip mall is the clearly place that dedicates itself to the chicken. Hainan Chicken bowl with rice and sides drove me to try it out. The chicken could hauled more seasoning and the ginger scallion sauce needed some flavor kick even with the sharper oil seared scallions taste that was missing. Chicken was soft and a choice of dark or white meat. I added an egg that was ok but again all my socks are still on. The veggies were a big odd. Plus honestly I'd like it all just hotter to excite the taste buds. 
More liked a 3.5 but I'm hoping my next time will be stronger. YMMV. Enjoy.

					Primarily a take out place, there's some seating inside for small groups and solo diners. The chicken rice is fragrant and satisfying and the sauces are amazing! You order from a screen and then wait until your name is called. Highly recommend for delicious chicken rice.

					I've done single plate purchases as well as large party tray bundles. 
Each time, the food has been fantastic. Friendly service, correct orders, no issues and delicious food.
